Most delivery platforms -- like @ubereats, @grubhub, @doordash, @seamless, @postmates, @deliverydotcom, and @caviar -- currently use an "opt out" model for utensils, napkins, condiments, and straws, meaning that every order gets these items unless the customer says otherwise. (And many customers still receive these waste items even after opting out!)⁠ ⁠ SIGN THE PETITION to let the delivery companies know that we want them to avoid single-use waste, and let customers choose to “opt in” only if they need a specific item.
