Black clothing is slimming but it’s not magic, yanno? A baggy black top isn’t an invisibility cloak. You may as well just wear the pieces you think are pretty. If they fit you (that’s another issue - dear God when will all retailers cover all plus sizes?!), put them on! . Broderie Anglais is one of my favourite types of fabric. I think it adds interest, it’s feminine (which I like but respect isn’t everyone’s cup of tea) and pretty. It’s quite a stiff fabric to hides lumps and bumps easily and is a lot warmer than you’d think! . I took these photos last week and since then, the brand I bought the top from has come into question for it’s ethics. I’ve also seen articles suggesting things are all ok but I’ve made the decision not to tag or promote them until things are fully clear. I hope you don’t mind.
