This isn't something you see every day! 🏜️ "This is a potash mine, and it’s used to harvest potassium-containing salts like KCl or K2SO4 that are used in everything from fertilizer to soap. Water is pumped into the ground to dissolve these salts and then brought up into the evaporation ponds you see here.
