Went to visit my 94yr old grandmother Mamie today. Wanted to respect her wishes to social distance so I stood in her courtyard and she spoke to me from her balcony. She lives on her own. She saw that i had flowers and asked “how am i gonna get my flowers?” I said i will bring them upstairs and put them outside your door. As i reached the top of the stairs she said “well you’re already up here, might as well come on in!” And then she goes in. Mamie has no filter. Today she didn’t call me fat but she did say my sweater was tight! She also said she doesn’t like my beard and it ain’t natural. She then asked “do I comb my hair?” We had a good sit down for an hour an a half. Gave me some trash to empty on my way out! I LOVE you too grandma! Until my next visit!
