The precious shimmer of verdigris lamé crêpe channels the forms, textures and colors of the paintings of Surrealist artist Leonora Carrington into an evening dress in the Autumn-Winter 2020-2021 Haute Couture collection by @MariaGraziaChiuri. Its tulle neckline and spilling sleeves are decorated with snaking spaghetti cords laboriously created in the atelier by assembling bias bands of fabric into tiny rouleaux, a feat of #DiorSavoirFaire made all the more remarkable in this scaled-down miniature version.
