I’m not sure what my life is going to look like without this little guy by my side, but I’m so damn grateful he’s been with me. I don’t know how I could have made it through this last year without him. Truly. His love made me a better human. He loved me more than I could love myself at times , and reminded me daily that maybe I wasn’t so bad after all. The more he loved me, the more I loved myself back. And maybe his passing is a sign that I am also free from pain now, and able to live this life more wisely, and with the most love and laughter. Thank you, Jack, for letting me be your dog mom and letting Jake be your big brother. You were wonderful to us both. We simply adored you, Beagle boy. Thank you. For everything.
