We see nasty comments and hear about so much suffering caused by unpleasant things people say to each other, emboldened by the anonymity of an Instagram or Twitter handle. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish one of my followers who I do not know at all, @craftyape, a very happy birthday. He has consistently quietly left comments that have made me laugh out loud. This is social media’s superpower - people having a positive effect on other people who would never otherwise meet. He also did a very fine drawing of a man who has only ever seen his reflection in a trombone which I feel the world needs.
