When I tell you that I‘ve never been more happy for someone in my life, I‘m not exaggerating! My best friend @cgervich is finally getting the attention he has always deserved. Chad was the first person to tell me I should be a writer. We met at UCLA when he was in the graduate playwriting dept and I was a snobby, entitled theater major who refused to spell theater with the „er“ ending, instead favoring the British „re“ ending making me a TheatRE major and making Chad extra annoying when he cast me to play a version of Joey from Dawson‘s Creek in his one act thesis, Captain Blasto comes to Iowa.
Over the course of our twenty year friendship, we‘ve been through so many ups and downs both personally and professionally. While he has always been self deprecating as fuck, Chad is a fighter. He has never given up, never settled and always with every blow got back up and started writing again. NOBODY DESERVES A FUCKING PILOT more! Literally nobody!
