Three-year-old Rayan lost his arm when conflict escalated in his hometown of Aden, #Yemen. “A shell came in and cut his arm,” his mother Amina says. “He was in the kitchen getting a glass of water.” ⠀
No child should have to face the consequences of a war they did not create. ⠀

Through @unicef_yemen’s assistance programme, Rayan was fitted for a prosthesis and got access to all the physical therapy and emotional support he needs to learn how to use it. ⠀
