I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since @keithhufnagel @colinmkennedy @lanced and the legendary #keenanmilton and I went to South Africa. There was never a trip like this again. Not for me anyway. There are many paths we can take as human beings, I am so thankful I took the one that lead me to this. To skateboarding. To these friends and experiences I’ve had over the years. July 4th is an especially hard time for everyone who knew Keenan as it is the night before his passing. That was 19 years ago. Less than a year after this trip we took to South Africa and a subsequent trip we made to Europe, just a few weeks shy of the 4th. I loved this guy. Everyone loved this guy. He filled the room with energy. The kind of guy you were thankful to enter the room because you knew that whatever was happening was going to be that much more interesting. We all miss Keenan. You will never be forgotten. - sb
