This ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ・・・ She signed up to fight for that freedom and protect us and yet she wasn’t protected herself. She went missing with no real investigation done by the army. She was just “missing” and her stuff was cleaned out. Her family fought and fought for help and answers and to get her story heard. People started hearing and demanding answers and finally when enough people made noise over 60 days later a real investigation was done and it was found that she was being sexually harassed by her sergeant and was killed and disposed of. If you click on the #iamvanessaguillen you will see that many other women share a similar story and luckily they are alive to talk about it today. This 4th of July I’m praying for Vanessa’s family and the brave women who have shared their story and risked their careers and lives doing so. This is so heartbreaking. Vanessa deserved better.
