クラウディア・ジョーダンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (クラウディア・ジョーダンInstagram)「💔💔💔 What kind of country do we live in where there is little to NO OUTRAGE over this little black girl’s life being robbed of her at the age of 7 by an irresponsible and reckless driver. This woman not only hit this child but attempted to flee the scene as this child lay dying in her driveway. No charges against the white female (protected) driver. Just imagine if a black man plowed thru a white child on the right hand side of a school bus (illegal) and tried to keep driving. He’d be every kind of murderous thug, gang banger, animal, threat to society in the book! These double standards are beyond hurtful to the families of such victims cause they reinforce the idea that black lives ain’t worth a damn. And for this I’m embarrassed of America. Make this right AMERICA!! 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 #AmiyaBraxton #Repost @solangeknowles___ ・・・ 7-year-old Amiya Braxton was exiting the stopped school bus on a same side of the street as her house when Karen Michelle Carpenter swerved around the bus, jumped the curb and hit Amiya. Witnesses at the scene have stated they had to keep the driver from fleeing the scene of the accident as Amiya laid dying in her own driveway. ‘Law enforcement said the passing motorist came from behind a bus and veered down the shoulder instead of going into the opposite lane’. Mississippi happens to be a state that already has such laws implicated. Nathan's law requires the motorist to stop at least 10 feet from a school bus when loading or offloading children. Twice a grand jury had considered both indictments for both manslaughter and Nathan's law. Both times this case was presented to the grand jury they have declined to indict the driver of any charges in the murder of Amiya. THIS HAPPENED IN 2016, Karen Carpenter is still free. #JusticeforAmiyaBraxton #TheExpendables #RacialDisparities #antiracism #blackchildrenmatter #blacklivesmatter #whereisjustice」7月4日 7時35分 - claudiajordan
