Johann Olav Koss aka “Koss the Boss” is a 4x Olympic Gold medalist in speed skating, and the founder of Right To Play (@righttoplayintl), an organization dedicated to using play as a way to protect, educate, and empower children all over the world. Their work in 14 countries and 72 refugee camps help children rise above the harsh realities of war and abuse, protect themselves from disease, go to school, and become leaders creating better, safer futures for themselves and their communities. RTP focuses on four types of play: games, sport, creative play (art/drama/performance), and free play (child-led, and self-directed).

@マイア・シブタニ and I have been Right To Play ambassadors since 2014 and we were excited to speak with Johann and Right To Play Tanzania Program Director, Patrick Nyeko about their work.
