ヴィッキー・パティソンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ヴィッキー・パティソンInstagram)「The pictures I used to post in my 20’s versus the pictures I post in my 30’s... 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I was terrified about my 30’s- for an amalgamation of reasons- I wasn’t where I thought I should be in my life, I had no children, I wasn’t married and I suppose I just didn’t have everything figured out- which I was convinced I would by the time I hit 30. But actually when I actually hit 30- this wonderful thing happened- I just accepted who I was. I accepted my looks, my shape, my imperfections, my goofiness and I even accepted the stage I was at in my life. I realised that my journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s- it’s MINE! So even though my friends might have have kids and husbands and dogs and all the living things it doesn’t make my achievements or my decisions any less special or significant. Getting married in your 30’s is still beautiful, having kids in your 40’s is still special, getting a degree or working out what it is you want to do with your life is an achievement at whatever age!! And we need to start remembering that and stop being so hard on ourselves! Being fabulous at 30 doesn’t come from having an arse you could crack walnuts on, being married, or having it all ‘figured out’ it comes from owning who you are and being proud of the person you’re becoming whilst still being able to celebrate other people’s wins!!
