Our two youngest daughters, Olivia and Keira, were both diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic disease that is fatal and has no cure, called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD). While it is too late for Olivia, and we only have a few years left with her, there is a chance we could potentially save Keira, since she is asymptomatic, with a cutting edge treatment known as gene therapy. But it will require us to move our family to Italy for 5 months in August and possibly pay for everything out of pocket. The timing amidst this global pandemic could not be worse but we are so hopeful and appreciate any support you can provide to help us save our dear Keira!
