Vacheron Constantin 222 jumbo from the late 1970s. Not more than 100 pieces of the reference 44018 with 37mm case have ever been produced in solid gold. The VC 222, designed by jörg hysek, was released in 1977 and is being named in one line with it´s more famous competitors PP Nautilus, AP Royal Oak and IWC Ingenieur. As it is much rarer than these three, it appears to be a very sought after model by todays collectors of luxury sportswatches from that timeperiod. #vc222 #vacheronconstantin222
