@oliverdowden.mp pull your finger out otherwise 70% of UK theatres will no longer exist and thousands upon thousands of Performers, Stage Crew, Musicians, Wardrobe Departments, Wig Departments, Make-up Departments, Theatre Staff, Sound Technicians, Lighting Technicians, Designers, Directors, Writers, Composers and Choreographers will all lose their livelihoods.
Funny, When a career politician is put in charge of something they know nothing about, they go quiet or produce a plan that makes no sense.
Producers want to try to make things work but they need a timeline. There are plans, @andrewlloydwebber is investing his own money to try to make it work. My #theatrefamily keep the pressure on #oliverdowden and @equityuk for the help we the #westend and #regionaltheatre desperately need.
