June is such a special month. The part that I love the most (this is Chad) is when I think about all those who are about to take a huge leap of faith and trust that living authentically is going to feel so much better than not. I know how terrifying it is. But it is the greatest feeling in the whole world once you do. I remember the morning after I came out, walking down York Avenue on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, and I could not stop smiling. The world looked clearer. My heart felt lighter. For the first time in 21 years I was exactly who I was. It was glorious.
So this month, we say THANK YOU to those that came before us to light the way, those that are lighting the way today, and to those who are just stepping into their own and about to light the way for everyone for years ahead. We love our LGBTQ+ family so much. We would not be here without you. Happy Pride!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜❣️
