Mammatus clouds are most often associated with anvil clouds as well as severe thunderstorms. By studying our environment, we can be better informed about what to expect and anticipate how we can best prepare and respond. We can be be frightened by the dark clouds, or know how they usually behave. Social climate is no different. We can study our history to understand how we've arrived where we are. In doing so, we begin to exchange fear for confidence. That's not to say that fear isn't part of the equation. It's just to say that the more we know, the more capable we are of dissecting the fear rationally and calmly, moving forward into it confident, collected, and calm. Education is power.
