I loved reading Robin’s gorgeous words, learning how moss, one of the oldest species on Earth, can have extremely complex behaviors. Certain types of moss can purify water, others can seem to be dead for a decade and come back to life with a single drop of water, and still others can change gender according to the environmental pressures. She gives the stories such a personal and emotional voice that inspires a pure sense of wonder for our planet.
