Three different techniques for pitching - standard pitch, high flop, and low pitch. Nail the technique... and then *ᴘʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴄᴇ ᴘʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴄᴇ ᴘʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴄᴇ* to gain confidence on distance control! Biggest mistake I see amateurs make on these shots is trying to “lift” or “help” the ball in the air. Keep your weight towards your front foot, hit down on the ball slightly, and let the loft of the wedge do the work!

I used a 60 degree @ジョン・ラーム JAWS MD5 for all of these shots, and that is what I use the most around the greens. Occasionally I will use a 56 degree wedge.
