At UO stores across the country, our employees have shared their individual voices by creating signs, painting murals, and coming together in support of Black Lives Matter. They have showed the real spirit of Urban Outfitters’ goals and beliefs and we’re proud to stand alongside them. UO is taking immediate action to address the allegations of racial profiling in stores with the following steps: • We have hired an external third-party to conduct a formal and thorough investigation into our store practices • We are immediately conducting mandatory diversity and inclusion trainings for all store and corporate employees to ensure a welcoming and inclusive organization and experience • We will form an internal Diversity and Inclusion committee with a comprehensive strategy that includes ongoing mandatory trainings, recruiting activities, and community donations These plans will be revisited to ensure continued progress in order to make Urban Outfitters the inclusive community we believe it to be.
