A whole email! My heart melted! In a time like this where every black owned brand is finally getting the recognition they deserve when they’ve been working their asses for years, every bit is appreciated. I see those who have shown me support and I want to say thank you. For those who haven’t I see you too. God has a way of showing you those who are truly on your side. 🙏🏾 I remember last year, when I was having the toughest time in my business life, I asked for help from those who were in my PR. Most were helpful and some people’s response were: ‘these are my rates’. I was heartbroken that those who I had helped would let me down in a difficult time where I was hopeless, down and depressed. (I’ve talked about it before on my time out Tuesdays) That thought me a lesson that I could only rely on myself. This lockdown has shown me that the true power lies within me. I turned things around with no help- just me, my brain and the undeniable love I have for Makeup Addiction- my brand.
