This day in 1968, The Beach Boys released their 14th studio album, Friends. The album’s calm and peaceful atmosphere was a result of a lo-fi production style recorded mostly at Brian’s Bel Air home. Said Brian: "Pet Sounds is by far my very best album, though my favorite is Friends.” #1968
