I'm using cray pas specialist set of 50 from Sakura of America to draw this small dinosaur inspired by my childhood plushie with derpy eyes 😋⁠⠀ Pro tips:⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 1. Go for a bigger sketchbook, it's easier to get the details done. ⁠⠀ 2. Don't use a charcoal pencil to sketch because they will smudge.⁠⠀ 3. Wipe the excess clump off your pastel tip often to avoid unwanted smudging.⁠⠀ 4. Start with light colors before you lay down the dark colors.⁠⠀ To me oil pastels are very spontaneous mediums, I ended up using some cut papers to add more depth.
