A big shout out to our teachers who have been doing more with less for decades now.
How about we take a little of that police money for weapons and put it toward... I don’t know CRAYONS for kindergartners?! Invest it DIRECTLY into the school of this communities. Not the school boards, or the administration (they’re as bloated and useless as most PD’s) but toward SERIOUS classroom improvements, I bet you would see a HUGE difference in the outcome of those children and communities.
Education is a preventative measure taken against violence.
You want the violence to end?! Then you better educate people.
Change ALL the systems, from the bottom up.
