Kind, empathetic, compassionate, smart, witty, funny, honorable...and he used those qualities as a writer, to create well rounded and often groundbreaking characters for his tV shows ( he was the first to ever portray compassionate portrayal of a gay couple on t v. (#lgbtq #medicalcenter #trapperjohnmd ) He was always there for us, even if he had a script due, we came first. He had great stories of starting out in radio before TV existed, but you had to pry them out of him. ❤️💕He never complained . Ever . Not once ! Not even after he couldn’t walk or eat due to illness. He only spoke to add something positive or funny and he always had a kind word and he meant it. I just loved to sit and talk and laugh with him ... and boy do I ever miss him!
