QAF was groundbreaking in soooo many ways for the LGBTQ community. I always loved the character, Ted, perfomed by Scott Lowell for many reasons. He was just a regular gay man and not glamorized like a lot of gay characters tend to be on shows. His character portrayed the struggles of our community with self esteem and addiction which were and are such important issues that our community needs to continue addressing.
