Local Resilience Forums are partnerships between councils and public services, which plan for and respond to states of emergency at a local level. The Earl heard how the team has worked to protect the public, health services and the most vulnerable in communities. HRH also spoke to frontline responders at Reigate Fire Station, and helped log deliveries to the Forum’s warehouse. Earlier in the week, The Earl also joined volunteers for a shift at Godalming Community Store to help sort their ‘Trolley Tuesday’ donations, and prepare meals from donated items. At the foodbank, HRH saw first-hand how the store has been supporting its friends and neighbours over recent months and thanked everyone for the huge collective effort involved. 👏」6月18日 20時19分
