I was very self aware from a very young age that I was different. As a young adult looking back I realize there were instances of discrimination that I’ve shrugged off and haven’t allowed myself to feel and therefore heal from. Luckily I ALWAYS had my mom to have my back. I’m so grateful for the love from my family and friends I had surrounding me.
