Images like these remind me how beautiful we as people are, coming together to not only stand up for what we believe in but for what is a human right; a non-negotiable problem society must solve. . . A lot of us might ask ourselves how we should start the conversation about the Black Lives Matter movement. The answer is it starts within your community. It starts with your close friends, the ones you send memes to every day. It starts with having uncomfortable conversations with people that think differently from you, no matter their race. As a son of Caribbean parents who've dealt with more obstacles and had fewer resources than we have now. I know my generation are a resilient bunch.
