クリッセル・リムさんのインスタグラム写真 - (クリッセル・リムInstagram)「I shared this on my stories but wanted to share on my feed as well since @klur.co ‘s recent post really spoke to me. I’ve been getting to know the founder Lesley for the past few days and she is as kind, passionate, and hard working as it gets. The fact that she doesn’t show her face in fear of discrimination of her skin color is unfair. The fact that she tries to raise capital without being seen so she doesn’t lose her chances on getting funded is unfair. The fact is that Leslie is just as hard working , talented, and passionate like any other founders out there and her products are truly beautiful. I never realized this about some Black owned brands, and as a founder myself who has recently raised money for my company bümo... I can’t even imagine not showing my face in fear that I will get rejected and discriminated against. This is a privilege that I had along with my co founder that I didn’t even realize. Yet alone ONLY 2.2% of all venture capital dollars go to women. So imagine if you were a Black woman trying to raise money for your company. Wow. Thank you @klur.co for opening up about this. We need to change this narrative. SWIPE TO READ THE FULL STORY #Blacklivesmatter」6月16日 9時40分 - chrisellelim
