53 years ago on June 12, 1967 Loving v. Virginia, was a landmark civil rights decision of the U.S. Supreme Court that struck down laws banning interracial marriage. The decision was followed by an increase in interracial marriages in the U.S. and is remembered annually on Loving Day.
This Supreme Court decision was cited as precedent in U.S. federal court decisions holding restrictions on same-sex marriage in the United States unconstitutional, making same sex-marriage in the United States legal on June 26th, 2015.
If you told little closeted weirdo Paul he would take an image like this one day he probably would’ve awkwardly laughed and continue to talk about his middle school “girlfriend” 😂🏳️🌈❤️
