IT’S TIME TO HONOR THE IMMENSE FIGHT AND POWER OF THE TRANS COMMUNITY.
Yesterday more than 15,000 gathered to honor Black trans lives and power just days after the reporter murders of two Black trans women (Dominique “Rem’mie” Fells and Riah Milton). Allies like @iamwestdakota, @franquishco, @elielcruz, @peytondix, @brohammed and so many more organized a rally with Black trans leaders and organizations (including @thefreeactorvist of @theokraproject, @raquel_willis, @juniormintt, and @doroshow of @glits_inc, @forthegworls, @mpjinstitute, and @btfacollective). #BlackTransPower #BlackTransLivesMatter #BrooklynLiberation

Today, #SCOTUS ruled that LGBTQ+ folks deserve protection at work. One of the cases at the center of the fight involved late elder Aimee Stephens with support from many attorneys, activists, and organizers including @chasestrangio of the @aclu_nationwide . And all of this has happened during #PrideMonth, in which we honor the Stonewall Riots, the militant uprising that gave birth to the modern LGBTQ+ movement.
