You’d think a person who I had only known a few years could hardly make an impression but that goes to show that time is irrelevant to how one can leave an indelible mark on your heart. Dewayne personified service in action. He was a charismatic leader with an engineering mind who knew how to create a structure to craft and execute a plan of action. I took an idea to him about an orphanage I care about in Kyotera Uganda. He worked with me on how to execute that idea, to make it a reality. Without his leadership + engineering we, (all the people involved like @rossi @robesch #Jason ) would have never been able to see that vision through. Losing him at the onset of what I had hoped to be a lifelong friendship, has left a gaping hole for me and all who knew him, loved him, worked with him and benefitted from his generosity, spirit, and intelligence.
