When I think back to the first time he humbly played his musical creation "She will never by mine," I'm reminded of this courageous spirit to bravely explore opportunities and creative possibilities while facing the chance of failure, but still doing it. With only a month count down to the show, Denis had the courage and trust to ask for choreography and a short opening scene that would bring film, music and choreography to the ice together for a show number that could only happen with that spirit of "Lets just try." This was his first pilot of expanding and developing the concept of what skating could be.
