Police brutality in our country has been perpetuated by a culture of white supremacy, that we must work to dismantle in all of its forms. A large part of that effort starts in our hearts and homes. We must educate ourselves on the history of white supremacy in the United States, learn the history of systemic oppression of the Black community, acknowledge the impact it has on society today and commit to ongoing and sustained action.
