14 year old Joao Pedro was killed playing with his cousins when Federal Police chasing drug dealers recklessly shot the this child in the confrontation. My son Isaiah is 14 also and this broke my heart to see this young man lose his life.
I stand by all of you in your fight for justice and the battle to end police violence and brutality here in the United States as well as in Brazil. I support Brazillian black activists, the people living in the favelas, the mothers of the victims and all of those who are struggling against racism and violence.
