“The system is not broken. This is the expansive and intricate system of dehumanization that was constructed to support white supremacy and slavery." @brenebrown eloquently put into words all the information and history I've been ingesting over the past week. I now better understand how this system was built and how deeply rooted our privilege is and the racism and suppression of black people in our history. And I've only begun to scratch the surface. We must acknowledge the system was built to serve us and on the shoulders of black people, fight against it and break it until we see justice for all.
