We went from discouraging our children from iPads and screens to begging them to sit in front of them for Zoom classes. Their anti-bias Zoom assemblies were replaced with real life lessons and here we are. I’m continuously amazed by, and grateful for the teachers who pivoted so quickly and learned new skills. I genuinely wish that Harper could do this year again with her current teachers because they are national treasures (she tells Mr. Hall weekly that I’m in love with him 🤦🏻‍♀️), but more than anything, I’m grateful for this unprecedented and uninterrupted time that has allowed us to understand and know them (and the challenges and responsibilities we’re facing) even better. Our children have processed A LOT these past few months...just a gentle reminder to check in with them, talk to them and learn with them. Happy summer...whatever that means!」6月10日 5時17分
