トーリ・ウェブスターさんのインスタグラム動画 - (トーリ・ウェブスターInstagram)「It’s only June, but I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that 2020 has profoundly changed me. ⁣ ⁣ I watch this compilation of moments from my life from the last few years and realize how lucky I was to move freely through these moments, jumping from one experience to the next. This year has made me genuinely pause - and find immense gratitude for every handshake, every hug, every trip to a new city, every new face that met my gaze where I could experience their smile without a mask. ⁣ ⁣ 2020 has also made me reflect on so many other aspects of my life from both my character, to my belief systems, and what I can continue to do with my platform to make positive change. I lost thousands of followers last week for having an opinion beyond my typical fashion and beauty content, to those people who have left, goodbye, and good riddance. I will continue to be outspoken about where my heart is and the action I am taking to help Black people in my life and my community. It’s sickening to think others don’t feel the same. But if this year has taught me anything, it’s that I can only change my own energy and behaviour, and I will continue to educate myself and lead with love every step of the way. ⁣ ⁣ I hope 2020 is a definite leap in the right direction, but we have so much more to do...more dialogue, more activism, more support, more love, more kindness, more amplifying, more storytelling, more building others up and less breaking down. ⁣ ⁣ As always, I’m so appreciative of this community I’ve built over these last 10 years.
