Let’s Pray:

Dear Lord, First, I want to thank you for giving me another day! I also would like to send my deepest condolences to #GeorgeFloyd #AhmaudArbery and #BreonnaTaylor and the countless number of lives/legacies lost through ALL types of racism and social injustices. Lord, I pray for wisdom, knowledge and strength to endure, but African Americans have endured suffering for hundreds of years in this country. It feels as if our peace and joy is purposefully and intentionally being taken away through systemic racism & social injustice.
Lord, I pray for justice! I pray for forgiveness and I pray for action, Lord! Help this country and world realize we are all human and we ALL should be treated like humans. Not BLACK, Not white, Not rich, Not poor but human. Lord help us focus on YOUR 2 greatest commandments! Love your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength! And the second is this, you shall love your neighbor as yourself! (Mark 12:30-31). Lord, we ask you to intervene during these challenging times. Lord, we are angry and fed up, with the sickening systemic racism in this country. I love you God and know you are already intervening.
