Ok so the topic of getting out of dodge has come up again. We are seriously talking about leaving California but we still need to be close so we are looking at Portland area or Seattle area. Doesn’t have to be in the city in fact a cool town or smaller city or suburb area outside the big city would probably be more desirable. I’m reaching out for some advice... we are going to drive up and check these places out sooner rather than later and I am looking for some Info from people who know what’s up, like what are good family friendly places to live? I like adventure and outdoor stuff but don’t want to be too secluded for the wife and kids so what would be some good areas to check out. From what I’ve seen you can’t really go wrong with the public schools out there is that true? What’s it like raising kids in these places? What’s it like dealing with the weather and kids? Is it safe? Anything and everything will help. I have been doing research online but I find you can’t beat first hand experience. Thanks guys.
