We don’t think about it, know about it, or we think we have more urgent issues in the fight, but the fact is they’re all urgent because they’re all killing us. Chemical waste plants, garbage dumps, places where animal waste run off is in our water and soil happens in black communities more than anywhere else, and it is LITERALLY killing us. It causes cancer, asthma, lead poisoning, and worsening weather disasters like hurricanes (which because of economic injustice makes many black people unable to leave danger zones). There are so many ways racism is killing us. Let’s demand action (& take personal action) on this one too. I love y’all ❤️」6月9日 3時48分
