We shouldn’t have to beg for our human rights. We shouldn’t have to explain and educate others on the mistreatment that happens to the black community on a day to day basis. As a mother, I try every single day to break generational trauma-bound ways of being. Reprogramming what was taught to us subconsciously. Teaching my children the same."
