I am a BLACK MAN who has had a black role model for a dad and had a rock of a mother who was white. I remember her telling me along with my dad, son although you are mixed race, in society you will be looked upon and treated as a black male!
One thing about what is happening in the world right now is that humans from all races and backgrounds are talking out about racism. With this, there are some jumping on the negative side of it saying why isn't it ’all lives matter’. The people that are saying this are the ones that need educating, we are saying our lives matter just as much as everyone’s! You don’t have to say it because you haven’t lived a day in our shoes!! It is not a saying to cause division it’s a simple saying to say enough is enough. Everyone needs to continue talking about this, yes it’s an uncomfortable topic for a lot of people but be open minded and try to understand what’s been happening for all these years and understand why we are out here saying BLACK LIVES MATTER!!
