I feel like I can’t put up something like this, without expressing how deeply times like this trouble me. Being mixed, is one of the most confusing aspects of my life. You can never please people because of it. Some say I’m too this, or too that. They discredit my “validation” to do certain things based on the fact that I’m not completely like them. And there have been times I didn’t completely understand why people had a problem with that. It took growing up and seeing it for myself to realize how much hate there is in this world. So to anyone who I’ve ever offended during that learning process, I truly am sorry. It took a long time for me to finally understand/love who God made me to be. Now I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
