Looking at my new baby daughter everyday is a clear reminder that no one is born to hate, no one is born to be biased, we are born from love and we are born to love. I understand that it is our responsibility as humans and parents to be pro-active with ourselves and our children's growth by starting conversations at home and making sure we are all informed and openly communicating for an anti-racist future. I fully acknowledge the privileges myself and my family were born into and benefited from largely because of the colour of our skin, and I find it so upsetting that those words even need to be said – but they DO!
