The Imola chair by Henrik Pedersen is unique Danish design.

Did you know Henrik took inspiration from the swirling halves of a tennis ball? Unlike most lounge chairs, where the curves are parts of a circle – perhaps a quarter or an eighth – Imola’s curves are fluid and truly organic. As Henrik put it, “It was more about the flow of the pen than rules of geometry.” It comes with a wireframe or swivel base and optional footstool. Only a handful of craftspeople are qualified to upholster Imola; training that takes a year to complete.
Each chair uses around 3.5 square metres of fabric and over sixty metres of thread. And like nearly every upholstered design, Imola can be finished in any of our 120+ options.
