Like many, the fashion industry itself is forced to look squarely at its own reflection and often what we see is not pretty. This industry has been like an adopted family I’ve grown up with since I was 14 years old. Often it’s felt like a dysfunctional family and over the years I’ve tried to publicly call out injustices I’ve seen on a number of topics. Now it’s my time to listen. I want to hear the voices of those who have felt downtrodden by the fashion industry, fellow models who have felt and suffered from the effects of racism first hand in our industry. Together with my @cocorochamodelcamp team we are putting together a special multi-day virtual program and I’m inviting anyone who feels they have a story to tell, anyone who feels they want to be heard, to email us and we will arrange a virtual face to face discussion.
